I had started painting at the age of seven and since then, have held it as my life’s passion. I majored in Interior/Exterior Design at the University of Fine Arts in Cairo, Egypt. Over the years, I’ve enhanced my artistic skills with courses in Commercial Arts, Desktop Publishing and Digital Media. In 1982, I was chosen to produce an oil painting of the Canadian Constitution Act which was presented to the Prime Minister, Mr. Pierre E. Trudeau. Since then, I have been painting; teaching art, participating in juried art exhibitions nationally & internationally and have received numerous awards for my artwork.
